Former Accenture Managing Director brings 25 years of regulated-industry experience as the nonprofit expands outreach around voluntary AI use disclosure

NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Responsible AI Usage Foundation, Inc., a New Jersey-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing transparency around the use of artificial intelligence, today announced that Jan Eule, a former Managing Director at Accenture, has joined the Foundation as Senior Advisor.

Mr. Eule brings 25 years of information technology and regulated-industry experience as the Foundation expands institutional outreach around DAIU (Disclose AI Usage), its draft framework for helping people and organizations clearly communicate how artificial intelligence contributed to content.

DAIU was created to provide more context than a simple “AI” or “not AI” label. AI may have played no role in a piece of work, provided limited assistance, or contributed much more substantially. DAIU gives creators and organizations different levels of disclosure to describe AI’s involvement, including a clear way to state when no AI was used.

The framework is voluntary and self-declared. It is designed to work across websites, documents, social platforms, video and other media, with disclosures that can be presented in plain language, visual labels or machine-readable metadata.

As we move from building the framework toward broader institutional engagement, Jan brings the enterprise and regulated-industry perspective we need to make sure DAIU can work in real organizational environments.”

Mr. Eule previously served as a Managing Director at Accenture, where he advised C-suite and senior leaders on integrating emerging technology to transform core business operations while managing regulatory, legal and reputational risk.

As Senior Advisor, Mr. Eule will advise the Foundation on institutional adoption, implementation considerations and how voluntary AI-use disclosure can work within organizations operating in regulated and other complex environments.

“Responsible AI usage and clear disclosure aren't just a compliance box to check,” Mr. Eule said. “They build real audience trust, and they give the publishing entity a credential that sets it apart in the market. The Foundation developed DAIU as a trust-based disclosure framework rather than an enforcement mechanism. Creators and organizations choose how to describe AI involvement in their work. DAIU does not rate the quality of content, verify whether a declaration is accurate, or judge whether using AI is appropriate. Its purpose is to provide a common language that helps audiences better understand what role AI played.

DAIU is designed to complement, rather than replace, technical provenance and metadata approaches such as C2PA and IPTC. The Foundation has published the DAIU draft publicly and is developing tools and guidance to make disclosure easier for creators and organizations to understand and implement.

Mr. Eule holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Mathematics from the University of Muenster, Germany, and is based in Orlando, Florida.
