Award Winning Florida Haunted Attraction Returns For 13th Halloween Season

PLANT CITY, FL, UNITED STATES, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The 13th season for Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail Halloween event runs from Friday, September 25th through Sunday, November 1st on select dates. The 501(c)3 local haunt, located between Tampa and Orlando off of exit 22 on Interstate 4, sells tickets online and in advance, with the ability to purchase while in line via customer phones. Purchasing ahead of time will prevent any sell out time slots, or complete capacity nights, preventing fans from enjoying the event.

“I truly can’t believe we have been running this haunt for 13 seasons,” says Zach Glaros, the owner of the attraction. “The story telling we have on tap for this Fall will really take fans by surprise, and I know my staff have had a really rewarding experience putting these attractions together for this season.” Exclusives this season include Keel and Curley returning to serve their renowned wines and hard ciders at the haunted attraction. The haunt will also host a special ticketed event called FAMILY FRIGHT NITE. On October 29th, families with small children or those with sensory concerns can enjoy a night with no scares, trick or treating, and a DJ playing fun music. Tickets must be purchased in advance for this night, similar to all other operating nights of the attraction.

Sir Henry’s is nominated for a 2026 USA Today Readers’ Choice Award for Best Haunted House/Attraction. Voting for the 2026 awards began August 24th and ends on September 21st, with winners announced September 30th. This will make the third year in a row the haunt has been nominated, with recent wins on the USA Today 10 Best list for the top ten haunted attractions in America for 2024, and once again in 2025.

Another milestone for the haunt is a new book, as part of their literary, in-universe series. “Sir Henry’s Haunted Tales - The Compendium combines all three prior books, existing short stories, new short stories, and a preview of our final book, coming next year,” says Amanda Rosenblatt, the main author of the series. Rosenblatt, with the aid of co-author Brad Acevedo, has been telling the extended backstories of the haunt’s established characters since 2021. Book artist Patrick Brown returns once again to provide his illustrations, but the compendium also contains story telling from a new writer in the series, Quill S. Hull, who has a unique background to Sir Henry’s. As a trail manager and a scare actor with the haunted attraction, his contribution expands on the origins for characters from the haunt’s Ghost Town themed event in the Spring.

Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail is family friendly, with parental guidance suggested for those under 13. Admission for entry is only available online for advanced purchase before coming to the event - fans can choose a designated time to avoid event overcrowding. A portion of each ticket sale will be donated to the organization Folds of Honor, while part of merchandise sales will go to the Orlando Ghostbusters, who raise money for The Starlight Children’s Foundation. There will be three spooky trails, each with a unique story, in which haunt fans will be able to wander through to see live storytelling. The haunt trails take place in the woods, adding a sense of isolation that makes the horror attraction stand out for haunt fans. Glaros, whose college minor was history, enjoys getting to meld the factual with the fictional. With a majority of the haunt’s narratives centered around the Great Depression time period in America, some trails go even further back in time, while always paying tribute to Florida's historical roots in America's story.

RECOMMENDATIONS/SAFETY/ACCOMMODATIONS: Some additional draws of Sir Henry’s are not only the convenient location right off of I-4, but also free parking and accommodating staff.
There is currently a bag policy in place. Weapons are allowed in a locked trunk in guest vehicles, but are not allowed on property in a bag or concealed on a guest’s person, per Florida state law.
There is no filming/lighting/photography on the trails, and all smoking/vaping must remain outside of the main guest area (past the entry gate on the parking lot side).

Fans who have concerns about accessibility, mobility, flashing lights, and sudden loud noises will want to read our accessibility policies, liabilities and accommodations on our website before purchasing tickets.
The event is outdoors, so wearing closed toe comfortable shoes and bringing an umbrella or poncho will provide a better experience. Adult supervision for those under 13 is advised and the event may be too intense for such young individuals.

Please do not visit Sir Henry’s if you have been exposed to COVID-19 or are having any COVID-19 symptoms, as well as any cold or flu symptoms. Guests who harass or touch our scare actors, or knowingly cause harm to other guests while visiting, will be trespassed from our event. No refunds on tickets.
