Let’s Roll Marketing Receives Second U.S. Patent in Four Months for Authority That Survives Mutation, With Proof
U.S. Patent No. 12,771,808 governs platform-authorized media entering a video call’s waiting interval, inside the established session and on the record
Don’t mistake the embodiments for the core primitive. A waiting room, an unanswered call, a caption track: each is one mutation. The primitive is authority that survives mutation, with proof.”
COCKEYSVILLE, MD, UNITED STATES, October 20, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Live interactions now change while they are underway. An AI agent joins a call. A participant needs captions. Outside content enters a waiting room. A call becomes a message. Identity and permission are checked at the door. What happens to authority after the door is the industry’s unanswered question.— Thomas Rocha III, Co-Inventor and CEO, Let’s Roll Marketing LLC
Let’s Roll Marketing LLC calls the answer authority that survives mutation, with proof: the authority that governed an interaction before a change still governs it after; no second authority is created to let the change in, and a record ties the result to that authority. It is the principle behind the company’s SSOAR patent family.
On October 20, 2026, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued the family’s second patent, U.S. Patent No. 12,771,808 B2, known as Warten, four months after U.S. Patent No. 12,659,408 B2, known as Hermes-Echo. All 19 of Warten’s claims were allowed as filed on first action, without amendment.
Warten’s title, “Pre-Recorded Video Ads Play in Video Call Wait Room,” names its first embodiment. Its claims define one concrete mutation: platform-authorized prerecorded media entering a video call’s waiting interval while the established session continues. The media enters only on a platform-issued credential, inside the existing transport and encryption context, without a parallel session or renegotiated security, and its use is recorded. The USPTO classified the patent in both video conferencing and token-based authentication. Hermes-Echo governs a different mutation, the unanswered call, under a single session authority “wherein no new session authority is created.”
Leading meeting platforms let a host or administrator brand the waiting room with a logo, a message, or a single uploaded video, the same for every meeting. Warten addresses the next step: content from authorized partners, selected for each event in real time, including by a machine-learning classifier, and measured for view duration per participant and completion rate, with results refining what is selected next. The minutes before a telehealth visit, sales call, or live event become inventory with a basis for attribution and return on investment.
The principle reaches accessibility. Warten incorporates the provisional application for Ludwig’s Raven, the family’s accessibility invention, which delivers captions and sign-language tracks only to the participants who need them, inside the existing session. The FCC’s video conferencing accessibility rules under the CVAA, which require support for third-party captioning and sign-language interpreters, reach their compliance date in January 2027. The European Accessibility Act already applies across the EU.
It reaches AI as well. Card networks, cloud platforms, and identity providers are racing to authorize what agents do. Authorization answers whether an action is allowed. It does not answer whether the authority behind it survived the agent’s arrival, the tool it called, or the session it changed, or whether anyone can prove it afterward.
“Every system checks who you are and what you may do,” said Thomas Rocha III, co-inventor and CEO of Let’s Roll Marketing. “The harder question is whether that authority is still in force after something changes, and whether you can prove it. That is the problem SSOAR was built to solve. Hermes-Echo and Warten are the first two issued patents in the family.”
The SSOAR portfolio comprises two issued U.S. patents with 39 claims, two published continuations pending examination, two published international applications, and eight additional inventions, with earliest priority of September 4, 2024. Let’s Roll Marketing intends to prosecute the full family internationally.
Let’s Roll Marketing invites communication platforms, AI agent platforms, payment and identity providers, strategic buyers, and capital partners to engage before national-phase filing decisions are made. Confidential diligence materials are available under mutual confidentiality. Acquisition, licensing, and partnership inquiries are welcome in writing.
